Expertise: Medical Sociology
Research Areas: My research area is Medical Sociology.It is a branch of sociology which deals with medical settings. It is the important field of study as it explores the social context of health and illness. As the biomedical aspects of health are important but we can not ignore the socio-cultural aspects of health also. Both aspects are important for the holistic approach of defining health and illness.
