AUDITORIUM

The college has a huge auditorium with a seating capacity of about eight hundred. The auditorium is among the best in the region. It serves as the hub for all academic deliberations and cultural activities in the college. The auditorium is divided into various parts: the main floor, the wings, the rear event, the balcony, and the antechambers. The British architectural excellence accords a very special aura to the auditorium.

RESEARCH LABS

The college has a number of well-equipped laboratories, which serve as a home to a number of highly sophisticated experimental research facilities. These research laboratories are designed to serve staff scientists, students as well as research scholars. The interdisciplinary composition of these labs makes it possible to study structures from a number of combined and integrated perspectives in an attempt to provide research and consultations towards new theories. INSTRUMENTATION LAB

The D.A-V. College Instrumentation Lab is one of the finest in the entire region. The college recognizes the power of modern instrumentation in dealing with the problems fundamental to the study of science and technology. The centre possesses a wide range of equipments for use by students and researchers in laboratory courses and research projects. Major instrumental equipment includes: IR Spectrometer, HPLC,P H Meter, U.V. Visible Spectrometer, Water Soil Analyzer, Auto Centrifuge Machine, Auto Titrator, P.C.R. Machine, B.O.D. COLLEGE MAGAZINE

ABHIVYAKTI – the college magazine is the mirror of college life. It is an annual feature and is brought out regularly. It provides a platform to students and teachers alike to express their views on a variety of topics and issues. The magazine serves as a portal of creative writing culture of the college. Released every year in April, marks the culmination of all the activities in the college.. Hence it departs greatly from the casual attitude and projects a professional image while maintaining the distinctive D.A-V. flavour in its articles.

COMMON ROOMS

The college provides separate common rooms for boys and girls. The girls’ common room is situated on the first floor above the principal’s office. It has all the basic amenities like magazines, drinking water, toilet, and proper sitting facilities. The boys’ common room is situated close to the Students’ Union building. It has all necessary amenities to make the students feel comfortable.

BANK

There is a college branch of the U.P. Co-operative Bank on the Campus. The Bank offers transaction facilities to the staff and students. The bank acts as the financial hub for the students who are eligible for scholarships and for all those who are bonafide students of the college.
